I prefer driving in manual gear.

Between 12 hour nursing shifts and 24 hour parenting shifts, I redefined myself into with the author-published Growing A Rainbow (Aquhorthies Publishing, 2014).

I’m a special needs parent to a preemie son who kicked death in the pants and won. I’m a Canadian Registered Nurse. With my son and husband, I enjoy exploring the world, although we often re-visit Disney properties. I venture into the past with my medieval re-creation hobby.

I co-authored From Blog to Book with Doris Chung (PPS, 2015), giving Canadian Bloggers a concise guide on taking their expertise to book format. I’m a contributor to Preemie Babies 101, and That’s What She Said. I’m a public speaker and panelist about blogging, parenting, and writing.

On Real Women Drive Stick, I blog about raising my with special needs preemie son, travel, health, and other areas of personal interest. I write Born Again Writer about my endeavours as an author and publisher.

My debut fiction is an urban fantasy. The Queen’s Viper features Elizabethan and modern London timelines with a new spin on Celtic folklore. The book was a Semi-Finalist in the 2016 Kindle Book Awards, and has smashingly great cover by artist Mirellla Santana, with model Jessica Truscott (Faestock), & layout by Hufsa Tahir.
